BK Health Products: Copaiba Salve
Copaiba refers to a genus of flowering plants found mainly in tropical South America. Copaiba trees are known for their resin, which has been used traditionally by indigenous people for various purposes.
The resin extracted from Copaiba trees is often referred to as Copaiba oil or balsam. This resin is obtained by tapping the trunk of the tree, similar to how maple syrup is collected. The oil is then steam-distilled from the resin to produce Copaiba essential oil.
This Copaiba salve is formulated with the cleanest and purest ingredients. Our salve’s unique minimalist formula allows for maximum efficiency of the oils to be both useful and effective. The most common uses for this salve is pain and inflammation. Other uses include skin irritation and itchiness, dry skin and scalp, sprain and strains.
Gentle enough to put on most skin types. Just rub it in on the area(s) of pain, inflammation, or irritation. A second application might be required to achieve maximum absorption and effectiveness. Added bonus, this salve washes from most clothing types with conventional soap and water.
