There is a new stance on health… prevention!
If you have not heard yet, you soon will, of the lifestyle diet that WILL change, well… your lifestyle! Alkalizing is simply eating and drinking foods that are rated higher on the pH scale, but not too high (alkaline, basic or more specifically oxidizing). Most of the foods we eat here in America are acidic; that creates an acidic environment inside the blood and tissues and the rest of the system too. This environment is ripe for the development of germs and diseases including the dreaded cancer. That’s right even cancer has the hardest time blooming to fruition when your systems is alkaline and not acidic. In fact, like we just said, many germs and diseases have a very difficult time surviving a diet and system that is higher than 7 in the pH scale.
Here are two easy ways to really alkalize your diet:
1. Eat way more fruits and vegetables. Lemon juice is one of your best friends in this fight, and despite it seemingly being acidic the system converts all that acidic juices into alkaline love.
2. Drink more Alkaline water. There are systems out there from large to counter-top size that can convert plain ol’ tap water into purified alkaline water. Some bottled water companies claim that they have an alkaline water, and it is true that they probably started alkaline when the water went into the bottle but it mostly likely is not anymore; the life of alkaline water is about 3 days.
3. There are some products our there to help you fight the acidic fight. Many protein powders and “green” shake varieties can really help. Take for instance “7.2”, they are a company that focus specifically on vegan, kosher, certified organic alkaline diet solutions! Wow say that 10 times fast. Yes, there are other products out there but you may wish to do some real background checks before diving head first into them.
All things said, Alkalizing is your new best friend when thinking healthy. There sure have been a lot of fad diets and solutions but alkalizing has been around for… well, forever! Don’t get me wrong I personally like a good roast or steak but when it comes to my daily health it is the little things that make the biggest difference.
