Ever Wonder what makes for good health?
Well here are 3 things you can put together
that will make a difference!
1. Diet: Many organizations are trying to avoid this word because of its negative connotations of fad diets and quite pound pounding. If you look closer your diet consists of not only the foods you eat but when and sometimes how you eat them. Sources of foods can and do matter, take for instance ordinary bread; in times of old (and when we make bread) here are the ingredients: Water, flour, sugar, salt, yeast and some vegetable oil. Now read the label on you store bought bread… yeah… see the problem? So many think that just because the FDA says it is o.k. to consume it is o.k. to eat, and it is healthy for you. So things like HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP and ASPARTAME and DYES, etc, etc, etc, need to be considered as exceptions not normal. You also need to be aware of GENETICALLY MODIFIED (GMO) FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. DID YOU KNOW: Holland, burnt down 1100 acres of GMO corn fields just to make a point… very few countries that allow the sale of GMO without being publicly labelled , and the USA is one of them. Makes you wonder.
2. Exercise: a vital part of exercise is moving! You should probably know that joints do not function right when they have not been moving. The adage is true: if you don’t use it… you lose it! So use those joints the way were meant to be used and go for a walk, jog, run, bike ride, or my favorite, a swim. FACT: if you feel pain when doing exercise you either 1. have not done exercise in a long time and now your joint may be in need of some use and slow repair; 2. have been doing the exercise wrong, most likely for a long time to have pain while doing it. In any case, exercise, even just 10 minutes a day is better than nothing; 45 is better, and you guessed it 1.5 hours per day is the best to get you back into being a well oiled human being. Maybe I’ll see you at the pool.
3. Chiropractic: Most people who go because they want to heal instantly … but get this … Chiropractic was never, nor will it be, ever designed to instantly make you feel better (it is a nice side effect though), it is designed to make you instantly HEAL better. Yeah, pain has nothing to do not being healthy, you can be the healthiest person alive and have tons of pain, or you could be the most unhealthiest person alive and have no pain! Even the Medical doctor gods don’t know what pain really is, I know I just destroyed your reality. Pain is just as good for telling you that you are healing as much as it is to tell you that you are hurting. Chiropractic will turn up the ability that you were born with to heal and improve your life potential. If you remember nothing else then remember this, getting checked by a good, honest Upper Cervical chiropractor is the best-est, most important thing, not necessarily getting adjusted. If you don’t need to be adjusted… even better, if you do then get corrected and then make sure you get checked to make sure you held your adjustment.
